the meeting to order at 7:00 PM
Addition of Goeff Griffin, James Schleuter, and Plowing to agenda.
Mark Dubbels made motion to approve agenda with additions.
Cheryle Peters seconded the motion. Motion passed 4/0
Mark Dubbels made motion to approve minutes with spelling
correction.

1. Syngenta Seeds- Bob Wernimot, Site Manager
-would like to construct a
building March 2011 for sweet corn processing
-construction plans presented
with estimated cost of $683,000
-need footage from all
property lines (setbacks)
-processing building to be
used August to mid-September
Mark Dubbels made
recommendation to the board to grant a zoning certificate
to Syngenta Seeds for a
research and development building with the understanding
that setbacks would need to
be on a site plan.
Paul Schluter seconded the
motion. Motion passed 4/0.
Old
Business
1. James Schleuter-
-Mr Schleuter is leasing from
an investor and the investor need to apply for the
conditional use permit
-a promissory note or contract
for deed would be needed and Mr Schleuter only
has a typical lease
agreement
2. Goeff Griffin -
-Goodhue County is looking to
get rid of 35 acres lots in urban fringe
-Goeff Griffin is sending his
proposal through
-only issue is zoning
-cluster housing call for
6000 sq ft per house and Goeff’s plan has 20,000 per house
1.Plowing – concern voiced over possible change in plow routes
