PERA- Jennifer reported on a paid PERA anomaly from 2010. Jennifer reported on the CTAS training. It was suggested at the training that checks would be given to the treasurer, not waiting for the next meeting. Protocol was discussed for some possible changes.

Clerk’s Report:
Cheryle Peters reported on CTAS training held at the Office of the State Auditor.

Red Cross contracts were handed out for review.
Bob Benson made a motion to contract with Mr. Don Sholing for town hall mowing services. Vince Cockriel seconded the motion. The motion passed 3/0.
Road Report:
John Krantz reported: Brush removal finished for the spring season.
Tom Kurtz submitted invoice from Franklin Welding and Repair for new grader teeth.
Tom submitted an estimate from Ziegler for off site repairs.
Grader was discussed. Previous Ziegler bill was reviewed and discussed. Vince will call Ziegler for some review and possible negotiations.
Road rock was discussed. Potholes were discussed. Chloride was discussed.
One more quote for seal coating Pennfield was submitted. Bob made a motion to place the additional quote on the agenda. Vince seconded the motion. The motion passed 3/0.
John Krantz will make arrangements with Mark Henry to repair

Encroachment of poles and fences along
John Miller reported that Mr. Emery’s project finished well.
Roadside garbage was discussed, accumulation behind old town hall.
Erickson engineering was considered for work to be done on
bridge. Vince Cockriel made a motion to
contract with Erickson engineering, contingent on

Laura reported on pending FEMA
applications forms. John Miller signed to request reimbursement for losses

Machine shed discussion is planned for the October agenda.
New Business
Bob Benson would like to add 100 ft. of frontage to the town hall road; currently 66ft. Discussion ensued. The town board declined to grant the request.
