Vince Cockriel called meeting to order at 7 pm.

-requesting permit for addition of a deck/porch where current deck is located
-Planning Commission made motion to recommend to the Board to approve request
-site plan and construction plans presented.

Castle Rock resent invoice to show corrected amount. Clerk verified new invoice so not included with this month’s claims.

-Board of Equalization Training offered (John Miller needs this certification)
-air conditioner quotes collected and presented
Vince Cockriel made motion to put 7 K into the office for price of $236.74 with John
Krantz to install.

-complaint passed on via Deputy Sheriff regarding burning of trash in Penfield
-nothing addressed in our ordinance on this topic (DNR enforces this issue)
-Troy stated that he would be done with review at the end of this month
-Board will let Planning Commission review this first and will go from there
Road Report:
-want to be sure chloride goes up to stop sign and around the corner
-June 25-26 for chloride (tentative)
-Week July 6th will have Diamond Mower. Will mow ditches prior to that.

-ask Bill for quote on Penfield area where culvert was put in and other crack filling

Old Business:
1. Heavy Loads
-awaiting number loads from John Krantz and time grading from Tom Kurtz
-Tom Kurtz stated that he spent a total of
2. Road Maintenance Plan - to be visited at September Meeting
-consider vegetation policy with this so that bushes do not grow to be trees due to lack of
maintenance (upkeep important)
-Diamond mower used this year and not sure how much will be accomplished with it
-this year will be used as a bench mark
3. Goodhue Avenue Discussion – where is township line located?
-approach Northfield Township regarding maintenance of this road
New Business:
-one load of rock should cover it
-need to deal with correcting elevation issue
-call Anderson for one or two loads of ¾ inch lime

-interested in putting together numbers of monies spent on the annexation process
-Board advised to look for legal fees, town meetings, postings, etc.
-information to be useful if township ever accused of not bargaining in good faith
-Treasurer advised to assist Cheryle in collecting this information
