SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING (September 5, 2006)

The meeting was held September 5, 2006, 7:00 PM at the Phillippo Scout Reservation, 30654 32^nd Ave. Way, Cannon Falls, MN

Chairman Bob Benson called the meeting to order at 7:01 PM.

Vice Chair Joyce Moorhouse was present along with Supervisor Dave Garner, clerk Betts Top and treasurer Kenneth Ebert.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

The meeting was posted in the Cannon Falls Beacon August 23, 2006

The meeting was posted at the Old Town Hall on August 16, 2006

Bob announced the opening of the Town Hall bids.

Betts began opening the bids announcing the company and amount of each bid:

1. Blue Valley Builders $175,780.00

2. Cannon Construction $153,980.00

3. VanGuilder Construction $156,753.00

4. TriValley Construction $169,711.55

5. Red Wing Construction $167,357.00

6. Professional Contractors $159,650.00

7. Luiken Construction $175,639.00

8. Kreofsky Construction $174,300.00

The supervisors examined the lowest bid from Cannon Construction.

Dave Garner made a motion to accept the low bid for the Town Hall from Cannon Construction at $153,890.00

Bob Benson seconded the motion

Motion passed 3/0

Betts was advised to contact Cannon Construction and ask when they can begin construction. Also to contact all the supervisors with that information.

Joyce made a motion to adjourn the meeting
